CDTI-NEDO Joint Workshop on Food Technologies
A high-level international workshop bringing together key stakeholders from Spain and Japan to explore the future of food technology, innovation, sustainability, and industrial collaboration.
About the Workshop
The event is part of the bilateral technological cooperation activities between
CDTI E.P.E. and NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization),
the Japanese agency under the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI),
which includes an agreement to promote and fund R&D&I projects between Spanish and Japanese entities.
CDTI and NEDO are organizing the
“14th CDTI-NEDO Joint Workshop on Food Technologies” on May 27, 2026,
with the aim of showcasing part of the Spanish and Japanese innovation ecosystem
in the field of technologies applied to the food industry.
The 14th CDTI-NEDO Workshop will take place in
Bilbao as part of the programme of
Expo FoodTech 2026, which will be held at the
Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC).
The morning session will be dedicated to technical sessions (conference),
while the afternoon will focus on private bilateral meetings between Spanish and Japanese entities.
