During all stages of production (on farm, loading & transport, unloading & slaughter) it is possible to improve animal welfare in a cost-effective and objective way for the entire meat production chain. Ambitious and impactful, yet practical and efficient solutions are needed. Measuring is knowing, so objective measurements are the key for moving the sector to take goal-oriented actions for improving AW.
