Harm studied Business Administration at Rotterdam School of Management and Bocconi University. After his graduation he started working as a consultant for Deloitte and Arthur Andersen. In the last 17 years he set up several companies in the beer branche. His latest project is the Stadshaven Brouwerij in Rotterdam. In a 100 year old warehouse of 5.000 m2 he realised a brewery with a starting capacity of 2 mln liters. Stadshaven Brouwerij is the most sustainable craft brewery of the Netherlands.
