Foodimental was awarded first prize for EverFresh, an innovative solution that uses beneficial microorganisms to extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables by up to twice as long, helping reduce food waste and improve efficiency across the agri-food chain, without the use of pesticides or harsh chemicals.

🥈 Second Prize – The Good Pulse Company

The Good Pulse Company received the second prize for developing sustainable, legume-based proteins used to produce tasty and nutritious plant-based cheeses, offering a lower environmental footprint compared to traditional alternatives.

🌱 Recognised Startup – Mediterranean Algae

Mediterranean Algae was recognised for its natural algae-based dietary supplement, developed through an innovative upcycling technology that repurposes Mediterranean algae. The solution promotes metabolic health while supporting the circular economy and the preservation of marine ecosystems.
