Mercedes Larrain received a superior degree in Food Chemistry from National University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
She joined the Innovation Department of Kaiku Group (Basque Country) on 2008 and has previously worked in the food industry for the more than 30 years in the R&D departments of leading food companies of Argentina, Chile and Mexico, focusing for the last years on functional products in the dairy industry.
She is current Responsible for Strategic Projects in the Quality Supply Department of Kaiku Corporación Alimentaria.
