Principal Investigator in Efficient and Sustainable Processes group, AZTI, Basque Research and Technology Alliance and Ikerbasque Research Associate, Ikerbasque, Basque Foundation of Science. Over 30 years research experience in the area of bioprocesses in particular, in the production of food bioactive ingredients (proteins, peptides, polyphenols) from agrifood by-products, developing novel separation and purification strategies and in the chemical and functional characterisation of bioactives.
