AgriFood challenges can benefit from public-private collaboration in order to succeed to meet the demands required by the sector and by consumers, improve business profitability, and guarantee food sovereignty for future generations. The whole sector has to take advantage of the ideas of disruptive entrepreneurs, especially if they are young people and women installed in rural areas and able to stimulate the entire agri-food chain The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is doing his part to attract entrepreneurial talent through different initiatives and actors, both in the AgriTech and FoodTech sectors. This panel will show initiatives to support startups and also SMEs with real cases of projects being developed and the challenges for the startups along their way.
